UC-win/Road Ver.5.02.00 has been released*Free upgrade for Users of UC-win/Road Ver5.00.00.
FORUM8 has released UC-win/Road Ver.5.02.00 which has the variety of new functions on June 9, 2011.
Users of UC-win/Road Ver5.00.00 can upgrade to a new version without charge.
The following features were added to Ver5.00.00 in this upgrade.
Increased realism in the movement of overall vehicle movement, engine, and each transmission from engine to wheel.

Improvement of collision effect such as suspension effec at the time of shoulder collision.
The model of vehicles or a pedestrian is recorded, and a replay function is also supported.<br>

With placement of audio source and audience on 3D VR space, the acousticextent is simulated.
The Noise simulation analysis will be supported by supercomputer cloud system. It is expected that the speed and quality of analysis will be improved.
*An acoustic pressure level at each sound receiving point on sound receiving surface is analyzed in consideration of influence of ground surface, structures, buildings, etc.
*It's composed of the functions- preprocessor (input unit), main processor (analyzer) and postprocessor (result)
*The display in sound pressure level is available by contour figure, contour line, a grid and spherical shape.

The function to create road alignment (plane, longitudinal, crossing) from point cloud information is added.<br>
Revised function of sequence of points and user interface have been improved.

The color and strength of lighting in tunnel space can be set by each tunnel. This affects are applied for the traffic entering to the tunnel and the roadside objects.

The judgement is performed based on the actual achievement and potential of affiliation, the number of business, future possibilities, marketability, and technology.
In this 8th award, the encouraging award and the special award are selected for each.
We received this award for two products. "UC-win/Road for SaaS (Current name: VR-Cloud(TM)"is the system which allows the use of existing package software via Internet. It is expected that viewing VR data in such an environment with PC and Smartphone will improve the market more and more in future. "UC-1 for SaaS"is the SaaS type of "UC-1 series". A few thousand of licenses have been sold as the package product. It is expected that this will encourage market development and include customers who have not be able to adopt this product due to the cost issue.
