Expanding UC-win/FRAME(3D)/ Engineer's Studio®Analysis Support Service
and Geo Technical Analysis Support Service overseas.
- This international version of the UC-win/FRAME(3D)/ Engineer's Studio® Analysis Support Service" and "Geo Technical Analysis Support
Service"(available in English, Chinese, and Korean) is for users outside
Japan that are using UC-win/FRAME(3D), Engineer's Studio®, Geo Technical
Analysis series (GeoFEAS3D, UWLC, LEM3D, VG-Flow), and users in Japan that are taking orders for the work to be conducted
outside Japan.
Since the service commenced in 2004, FORUM8 has provided the service to
more than 500 users, the kind of business achievement we are proud of.
We provide a high quality service by using the state-of-the-art analysis
method such as the Dynamic Nonlinear analysis and Geo Technical Dynamic
FEM Analysis to give an accurate analysis result on various types of civil
works and architectural structures. The products targeted for this service
are UC-win/FRAME(3D), Engineer's Studio®, and Geo Technical Analysis
series (GeoFEAS3D, UWLC, LEM3D, VG-Flow), all of which are being localized
to English and other languages for the worldwide market, and are highly
evaluated by many prestigious Universities in Japan as excellent Japanese
software. The work flow of the service is same as that of the Japan; we
ask users to prepare the structural drawing and other materials required
for quotation, and our technical staff will confirm the materials to come
up with the quotation.

Overview and business achievements of UC-win/FRAME(3D) and Engineer's Studio®
- About 1500 users; many of them construction consultants, construction firms, and research institutes within universities in Japan and abroad; are enjoying the benefits of UC-win/FRAME (3D) since its first release in 2001. Engineer's Studio (R) which supports the nonlinear flat plate element came onto the market in 2009. The software is capable of running an advanced analysis using its 64-bit solver.
FORUM8 is actively engaging in many types of research projects and thanks
to their hard work, they won a championship for the content organized by
the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention
in Japan called the "C1-2 3D blind analysis contest under the category
of 'Analysis using fiber models'" in which contestants compete in
how accurately they can analyze and predict the behavior of a full size
reinforced-concrete bridge pier undergoing shear failure while it is on
the E-Defense shaking table, using UC-win/FRAME(3D) in 2009, and back-to-back
championships for the contest organized by the same institute called the
"C1-6 3D blind analysis contest under the category of 'Destruction
analysis'" in which contestants compete in how accurately they can
predict the seismic resistance and destruction of a full size bridge made
of natural mortar, using Engineer's Studio (R) in 2009 and 2010. These
accomplishments are few of the many reasons why our products' accuracy
level in terms of analysis and our analysis technology are highly regarded
as simply the best.
Overview and business achievements of Geotechnical Analysis Series
- We support users with their geotechnical analysis and their creation
of an initial FEM model. This is a technical service which supports our
valued users who are doing any of the following using any one of our lineup
of Geotechnical Analysis Series: Examining the effect of an earthquake-induced
liquefaction (such as an uplift of underground structures and permanent
displacement), designing countermeasures for liquefaction, assessing the
up-rise of underground water level and how much ground stability was lost
due to torrential rain and at the same time devising countermeasures, assessing
the stability of a slope and then performing a quantitative assessment
on its stability after the countermeasures have been implemented, and assessing
the bearing capacity of a foundation or examining/designing a 3 dimensional
countermeasure. Through this analysis support service, FORUM8' s technical
support team and software development staffs will back you up. You' ll
be amazed at how smoothly the entire process from data eation to visualization
of an analysis result flows and how easily you can run a 3 dimensional
FEM analysis, so please take advantage of this service by all means.
