On 5-6 November 2017, Forum8 (2-15-1 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo. President Yuji Ito. URL: http://www.forum8.co.jp/english/) will participate in the "Edvation x Summit 2017" to be held at the Kojimachi Junior High School and the Kaiun Club, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan as a platinum partner.

This event is an international conference with a purpose of promoting the education innovation utilizing advanced technologies such as AI and IoT. Through exhibits, demonstrations, workshops, and lectures and discussions by various guest speakers, visitors can experience diversified education solutions and domestic and overseas advanced case studies specialized in the fields of education and human development.

In addition to running a booth on the theme of "VR / AR / MR, education contents", Forum8 presents a panel discussion named "What will VR bring to education? -Possibility of VR Technology-". Prof. Tomohiro Fukuda (Associate Professor, Graduate School of Osaka University) and Mr. Takeshi Shinada (director of school innovation, Shotoku Gakuen Junior & Senior High School) are invited to the panel as guest speakers. From the viewpoints of educator and software vendor, we will search possibilities and issues of VR for future education, and will introduce utilizations of the Forum8's VR devices and the current application examples of ICT technology collaboration for city making / sightseeing / education. A workshop "Create a virtual 3D world!" to learn VR with UC-win/Road is also held for elementary and junior high school students.
