FORUM8 Becomes an Official Sponsor for FIA WRC
- Co-operation to begin at ACI Rally Monza, before continuing throughout the WRC’s exciting new season in 2022 -
FORUM8 Co., Ltd. (2-15-1 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo. President Yuji Ito. URL:https://www.FORUM8.co.jp/english/) has signed a contract to become an official sponsor for FIA WRC starting in November 2021.
The World Rally Championship was established in 1973 and has a long history and tradition. FORUM8 became an exclusive official title partner for the FORUM8 Rally Japan 2021. This rally that was scheduled to take place in Japan has been cancelled due to the circumstances surrounding the spread of COVID-19, so instead FORUM8 has decided to support a series of WRC events as an official WRC sponsor until 2022, starting off with the ACI Rally Monza to be held as a live event with spectators in Italy.
FORUM8 has been providing VR/CG software packages to overseas users, and those products are now widely used in road and architectural design, driving simulators, and various simulations. In order to further expand this global development and to start the development of more advanced simulation technology, we have signed a contract as an official partner of the WRC, which will be held worldwide.
