Low Latency, High-Resolution Video Transfer System
Our proud partner Revatron Co. Ltd. has released Vatroni, a new video transfer system that allows the process of video encoding - wireless transfer - decoding to become much smoother with a world class low latency of 10 ms. In all previous attempts by the industry, the fastest compressed video data transfer systems all failed to break the 150ms limit even with a wired LAN environment, making the Vatroni at least 15 times faster by comparison. Furthermore, it was also often said that the absolute resolution limit of wireless video transfer is only up to Full HD, but with Vatroni, it is now possible to wirelessly transfer even 4K resolution video data. *Excluding monitor or display latency.

 Long Distance Wi-Fi Support
With the incorporation of automated packet recovery features, Vatroni has been tested and determined that it is capable of low latency, long distance video transfer with an ordinary 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi router, at a distance up to 550 meters *1. So far, compressed video transfer with a 2.4Ghz environment has only achieved a maximum distance 300 m, which makes Vatroni nearly twice as powerful. *2
*1 Does not take into account of major obstacles such as walls.
*2 With only internal omnidirectional antenna.

70ms Latency in Internet Video Transfer
Revatron's conducted internet transfer experiments in March, 2015 and has found that the system allows a 70ms latency for this task, currently the world's lowest delay. Previously, latency is often caused by inevitable TCP/IP retries during reconnections, but with the automated packet recovery algorithm, packet losses due to data conflicts are now automatically recovered without needing TCI/IP retransmission again. Through this, even extremely large or complicated video data may be smoothly transfered.  (Evaluated in the United States)
Best for Remote Control / Manipulation Experiments
Recently, FORUM8 has partnered closely with Revatron to develop a low-latency video transfer system for experimental remote control  purposes. Unlike the more common, uncompressed video transfer systems, compressed video transfer system is also capable trasmitting image processing or control inputs with very low latency. It is safe to say that Vatroni has essentially opened up a new chapter of technology where true remote hardware controls or experiments finally become a reality.
Large Volume Data Processor Chip Design
Processing and transferring high resolution video data with low latency has always been a difficult task. But with Vatroni's specially designed large volume data processing chip, we no longer need to look back. Up until now, video encoders often have no less than 33 ms of latency that is needed for framebuffer when compressing videos. This will no longer be the case with Vatroni, which uses hard-coded encoders that encodes individual line only when needed, eliminating the 33 ms delay allocated to framebuffer. Furthermore, specially designed processing algorithm ensures that rare losses of image quality and a stable throughput during video output.
 Real-Time Video Transfer System
FORUM8's unique virtual reality technologies and Revatron's large volume data processing chip makes an excellent synergy, enabling us to develop nrew solutions that leverage on this. An example of which is a joint-development of high-speed processing of multiple input images to produce parallax effect for depth perception. Through this solution, we envision the remote generation and transmission of a complicated UC-win/Road VR space into another device via the Internet, allowing simultaneous connection into one virtual space anywhere across the globe.
