We will add new functions and improve the existing functions in Shade3D Ver.22, such as GPU ray tracing, Intel® Open Image Denoise, swept surface, and BIM/CIM Design Check Tool.

* The screens are under development. They are subject to change without notice.

GPU Ray Tracing

GPU ray tracing will be supported. The ray tracing which was previously performed using the GPU will be performed on the GPU to enable the high-speed and high-quality image rendering. This allows users to check the refraction of transparencies, object reflections, global illumination, and other expressions in real time. In addition to previewing in drawings, it can also be used as a final rendering, which will drastically increase the creation speed in various kinds of production.

Intel® Open Image Denoise

The support of the noise reduction library developed by Intel will enable to efficiently remove high frequency noise with AI deep learning based filters. Extreme settings to create noise-free images will be no longer needed, and it will make it easier to render high-quality images in a short time.

Swept Surface

Swept surface will be added as a new shape type. It can be created by combining a line as the cross-section and a line as the standard line which the cross-section line follows. Changes to the lines are projected in the shape immediately, making it possible to efficiently create and edit rebars, pipes, rails, etc.

BIM/CIM Design Check Tool (Sold separately at USD440: Professional version only)

Shade3D Ver.22 will allow users to add, edit, and delete attribute information for objects, such as adding physical information to IFC files and adding paths to external reference files. It will also support reflecting the results of model data editing to the IFC export so that it can be used effectively as an editing tool for IFC files.

As for the BIM/CIM Design Check Tool, the operability will be improved, including the redesign of user interface. It will be able to import the editing status of both verification sheets 1 and 2 into a single shd file, which will improve the convenience of data management for IFC files and design check.
