The utility business classification of UC-win/Road was determined to be a new technology and registered by NETIS (New Technology Information System) managed by the Land, Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry, on March 31, 2005.
UC-win/Road has numerous achievements in the Ministry's direct projects and was therefore categorized as "new technology for semi-general constructions". We will continue to propose the use of VR in public projects.

New technology information supply system has been run by the Land, Infrastructure and Transportation   Ministry since 1998. It went public in 2001, and there are about 4,000 new technology entries registered now.

UC-win/Road is co-development product between FORUM8 Co., Ltd and FORUM8 New Zealand Ltd. (FORUM8 100% investing company). In FORUM8(NZ), Senior programmer, Jim Moesman, Alistair Ward earnestly advanced the development as main staff.
Jim Moesman
Born in Utrecht, Holland, May 27, 1962. After moving to New Zealand, he lived in the world's southernmost city, Invercargill, until he was 18 years old. Graduated from the University of Otago with a master's degree in computer science. Alistair Ward
Born in Leeds, England, June 20, 1965. After moving to New Zealand, he lived in Milton, South Otago District for 12 years. Graduated from the University of Otago with a master's degree in computer science. Research paper "Texture mapping technology using ray tracing" Joined FORUM8 NZ on September 1, 1996
