New function and improvement of VR-Cloud® Ver.4.0

New functions have been developed in VR-Cloud® Ver.4.0. The system is now much easier to use than the previous version.

Home menu

Home menu has been added to both PC and AndroidTM clients of VR-Cloud®. All of accessable contents (For example, all of the contents which FORUM8 offers) which is in the given location are displayed in this home menu. Users can make the bookmark and see the browzing history of the contents on it. This function allows you to directly connect to the contents without entering the URL and that would be so much helpful to keep the release information of the contents the latest one. The vehicle model for driving simulator can now be selected.

When users start driving, the vehicle model to use can now be selected. All of the vehicle models saved in UC-win/Road project can be used (truck, bus and motorbike). The starting point and end point to drive can be selected as well. Figure 2 Selecting the vehicle model

Video in script and scenario

Videos played in script and scenario can now be seen in both PC and AndroidTM clients of VR-Cloud®. Therefore this enables the providers of the contents to make their contents in a creative and easy way.

Categorizing the notation

Notations can now be categorized by 10 colors and it is now easy and convenient to find the notation users want to share.

Function using GPS has been added to AndroidTM client.

When users are in environments where GPS can be used through AndroidTM terminals, it is now possible to use the function using GPS on both PC and AndroidTM clients of VR-Cloud®. Therefore users can know where they are in the 3DVR environment.

Ability to lock camera view to horizontal direction

Ability to lock camera view's angle of declination to horizontal direction.

VR-Cloud® is now based on UC-win/Road 7.1.2.

VR-Cloud® is now based on UC-win/Road Version 7.1.2 in which the new simulation function and improved points are included. The new functions are in UC-win/Road itself and new plug-in.
