Initiatives to support dissemination and utilization of state-of-the-art technologies in expression
State of the Art Technologies in Expression Association
Katsumi Matsuda
The State of the Art Technologies in Expression Association (SOATA) is established in 2018 to use the latest "expression technology" widely and to promote its use. In this lecture, we will introduce the association's initiatives toward spreading the state-of-the-art technologies.
With a view of BIM/CIM and i-Construction promoted by the MLIT, specialists in each field of DX, seismic, disaster mitigation, and informational construction delivered speeches. In addition, FORUM8 staff introduced FORUM8 solutions using CIM and covering various phases such as performance design and maintenance and the activities based on the SDGs missions.
College of Urban Sciences, Yokohama National University
Prof. Koichi Maekawa
Institute of Urban Innovation, Yokohama National University / Professor Emeritus, University of Tokyo / Director, Concrete Productivity Improvement Study Council, MLTI
Such as a residual risk assessment, considerations in structural planning and detailed design are being required to evaluate the collapse process when load exceeds the design load and to reduce damages as much as possible. Prof. Maekawa will explain that the consideration of rapid time effects with shear deformation after exceeding the bearing capacity and the consideration of deterioration with destruction of the hardened cement body improves the accuracy of behavior analysis for excess external forces. In addition, he will talk about the evaluation of residual performance of RC structures subjected to high temperature.
VR CG software, F8VPS, and Suite ERP which support digital garden city concept
FORUM8 Executive Officer, System Sales Manager
Katsumi Matsuda
Mr. Matsuda will explain the construction of a digital twins environment using open data and its utilization by F8VPS, application examples in the fields of i-Construction, information-oriented construction, disaster prevention and mitigation, and approaches to the realization of a digital garden city state. Also, he will introduce the new features of the Suite Data Eraser, F8VPS, BIM/CIM support in UC-win/Road, and Suite ERP which is provided as a series of ERP solutions including the input/output for client management, sales management, and accounting management program on Web browser.
